A view of the falls and boulders looking downstream on a sunny day in Autumn. Buttermilk Falls is on the Raquette river which is part of the Adirondack trail on Long Lake, NY near routes 28 and 30. It is an ideal picnic spot located on section one of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail.
