A Horned Puffin ( Fratercula corniculata ) perches on a rock in South East Alaska.All species of Puffins are pelagic birds. This means that the only time they come to shore is in the summer, where they raise their chicks in burrows. In fact not much is known about what they do while they are out at sea. This puffin image was created in Lake Clark National Park in Alaska.
