Ndutu Safari Lodge is one of the premiere destinations to view the annual calving of the wildebeests in East Africa. For eons of time the wildebeest have migrated to this part of the Southern Serengeti after the short rains to feed on the fresh grasses which contain extra calcium. This extra nutrition helps to make their calves strong.
