Horizontal image of a White-throated Sparrow ( Zonotrichia albicollis) perched in a cherry tree, with a single shaft of dramatic light crossing its face. The background is soft focus pink, from a Kwanzan Cherry Tree. I love the charming Spring song of this sparrow, " Oh sweet Canada Canada" This individual bird was in especially fine condition and posed nicely for me.
