All species of rhinoceros are highly endangered. The rhino horn, which is made from keratin is highly coveted by poachers. The organization known as Rhinos Without Borders is currently raising funds to move rhinos to Botswana:
"We're on a mission to move 100 rhinos from South Africa to Botswana in order to save them from poaching and develop a new breeding nucleus."
