White Lion, an original African wildlife photograph by Chris Scroggins.

I have never seen a white lion, although I have dreamed about them. This is a photo manipulation of a tawny lion I photographed in Kenya. Lions are becoming increasingly rare, and white lions are the rarest of all. I was inspired to create this image after reading Linda Tucker's most recent book, "Saving the White Lions" which was published in the spring of 2013. I highly recommend the book.
Perhaps one day I will see a real white lion.
