Description

A young, reddish-brown Carolina Wren ( Thryothorus ludovicianus) is perched on a weathered fence surrounded by green foliage. The bird's plumage is rich and detailed, with a prominent eye stripe and a slightly curved beak. As the fledgling matures, the beak will become even longer and exhibit the characteristic adult beak length.
