Marksburg castle (Germany) is a large size castle, unique to castle lovers because of it´s special main tower design, can be toured (guided) and is a wonderful landmark wich makes for a fantastic travel destination. The castle is the only hilltop castle along river rhine that never was destroyed and dates back to 1231.
