Colorful photo of a pika rodent near orange lichen covered rocks in the Rocky Mountains of western Canada. Pikas live in rocky terrain where they can hide quickly from eagles and other predators. They also collect plants and flowers during the summer and stack them inside their rock burrows so that they have an adequate food supply to last the winter.
