Horizontal image of a nearly adult Bald Eagle ( Haliaeetus leucocephalus ) perched on a log grasping a fish, ready to feed on a bright, sunny day. Created at the Loch Raven Reservoir lower dam area in Baltimore County, Md. This is a popular spot for eagles, ospreys and humans to fish. The brown head feathers indicate an eagle which is not quite fully adult. When the eagles show up, the Ospreys leave.
