Two Fox and a Stick, an original wildlife photograph created by Chris Scroggins at Cromwell Valley Park, Md.

Just outside their den site, two adorable young Red Fox kits transform a stick into a toy, carrying it together, side by side. Charmingly, the little Fox on the right has one paw draped over the stick. This scene remained me of the imaginative childhood games we all played, like jump rope and pick-up sticks. These foxes used leaves, pine cones and even empty snack bags for toys. Foxes often remind me of cats, but this time they looked just like puppies to me.
